On November 26, 2024, Sinopec successfully organized the completion ceremony of Hong Kong's first public hydrogen refueling station in Au Tau, New Territories, Hong Kong, marking an important step in the application of hydrogen energy in Hong Kong. The ceremony not only attracted a large number of guests including representatives from the SAR Government, the Legislative Council, the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (LOCPG), the Chinese Enterprises Association (CEA), the Democratic Alliance for the Betterment and Progress of Hong Kong (DAB), as well as industry partners, but also featured a special display of Lianhe Xianxiang's Hydrogen Forklift Trucks, which showcased the potential of hydrogen energy applications in industrial logistics.

Sinopec Hong Kong Au Tau Hydrogen Filling Station, located at 17 Kam Tin Road, Yuen Long, New Territories, is the first comprehensive filling station in Hong Kong that integrates “oil, gas, hydrogen, electricity and services”. With a daily hydrogen refueling capacity of 1,000 kilograms, the station is capable of providing round-the-clock refueling services for different types of vehicles such as hydrogen-fueled buses, commercial vehicles, private cars and engineering fleets.
